Crit Work "Getting Close"

Here is my work for the Critique for Thursdays class.

The top image is with a shallow depth of field with the subject being a tiny thorn branch sticking from the ground.

The bottom image is a portion of a adobe oven that had wear and tear from the years of use to depict the deep depth of field.

Comment on the pictures, have a good evening, morning, day, or whatever it may be.

Photo Collection Update

Vroom Vroom.

"Using a green herb alone heals some wounds."

"When combined with a green herb, the medicinal properties of the red herb doubles the healing properties."
A update to the blog with my photos. Bonus points to those that can remember where the quotes from the bottom two pictures came from.

Critique work for February 21st

Unfortunately due to the weather conditions and the university having to close, my critique work will be up here for all to see. The topic/subject of lines and curves came to mind i thought of something that was alive and always moving and had history to it. Deep ridges that could hold a entire mountain seem more intriguing for this subject so i went with mountain slabs that had numerous amounts of contrast, sharp lines, and curves.

1st picture for critique.

2nd picture for critique.
Feedback is appreciated. Let me know what you think of the pictures. Have a good snow day.

Post nummer uno

Ideas come from our realistic side, but the imaginative side makes the idea come to life.

Behold, the fierce beast from the heavens above!
Remnants of childhood past.
Shining Armor and the trek across the kitchen counter.
